5. After what I said, I went over to xbox360fanboy, a place I have only been before, once.
Anyways, I noticed they have this contest, to win a 360, 1080p tv (for xbox???), and a Bose sound system.
I entered. I don't want to buy the damn thing, but getting it free with sweet peripherals would be nice-- I could play it for 6 months before it breaks, and run my ps3 on 1080p.
You enter by posting a comment, that's all.
I noticed that there are 17,000+ comments.
Really.
Uh... ps3fanboy? Where's OUR contest?
Oh, wait. I just figured out something.
The contest is, of course, sponsored by Microsoft.
Which makes me think.
Sony?
How 'bout this, Sony: you know that ps3fanboy is your lifeline. Would it be so hard to pony up a ps3, a Bravia, and a SONY sound system? Would this be so hard?
Look at it this way: first of all, you can gauge customer interest by the number of responses. So just budget it with your marketing.
Secondly, it's a great opportunity to build fan loyalty.
The question is...
What game?
What ps3 game do fanboys want more than anything?
We don't have a Halo.
The titles that come to mind are Ratchet and Clank and Drake's Fortune.
I may have forgot something, but remember, Sony should keep it platform-exclusive, and Heavenly Sword and Warhawk are already out.
Sony. Just do it.
