Soul Calibur IV officially unveiled, teased

Considered by many to be the best weapons-based fighting game around, 1UP is giving gamers an early tease of their upcoming exclusive Soul Calibur feature for EGM. Namco is giving fighting fans exactly what they want as they have announced Soul Calibur 4 will be appearing exclusively on Xbox 360.

And PlayStation 3. While we're appreciative of this first-look, we're sad to admit that this has simply whet our appetite for more. Hopefully, it won't be too long until our local postal employee stops by our door and rescues us from our shriveled, frothing Soul Calibur-deprived lunacy.

1. wait I dont understand, is it exclusive to the 360?? if so why is their a ps3 logo at the end of the teaser?

2. I think the word 'lame' is probably the best adjective for a teaser like this, with no animation. They show her boobs so we think we'll see next-gen jiggle. And speaking of which, why the lowest denominator? They look fake, as if anybody wants to see that. I think the model for Heavenly Sword was done much better, because she looks like a real person, not some porn object. Still... curious how those next-gen jiggles will play out...

3. According to 1UP, it's coming to both Xbox360 and PS3.

4. According to PS3 Fanboy, it's coming to Xbox 360 and PS3. Really, you should all read the entire post.

5. ohhh i see their's a period after 360, so it makes it seem like "soul Calibur 4 will be appearing exclusively on Xbox 360." is the whole sentence, then after the paragraph spacing it says "And playstation 3." which should be with the other sentence, lol, am i making sence?

Posted at 9:10PM on Jun 12th 2007 by Mishi

6. Jeez... My heart stopped their for second when I saw the period after 360. Darn you, PS3 Fanboy!

9. I agree with John, the 12-year-old boy fantasy breasts are just sad...I thought Taki's "upgrade" from SC to SC2 was bad we get this...I just hope the in-game model is better. I'd like my next-gen women to look human thanks...what is it with the Japanese character designers and these ridiculous silicon stripper breasts?

10. yeah, what is with their herioc asian archetype female characters with the flat chests? (lookin at you xianghua)

seriously overly sexy are just a part of some of these characters. (and yeah it sells too)

the only way to improve upon last gen sexiness is to "push" it a little bit if you will.

this goes for the male characters as well. forgive me if i can't think of an example but i'm sure their sexocity is pissing off someone out there as well!

11. I hope the PS3 version has some kickass exclusive characters like, Cloud Strife, Kratos, and Nariko.

12. Heh, got me with that trick too. I knew Namco wouldn't abandon Sony users though.
