European PSN updates for October 25th

As if the imminent release of several games on our retail shelves wasn't enough, today's PSN update is one of the biggest we've ever had. The playable content weighs in at four games and two demos and comes with a healthy portion of trailers and game add ons. Here's the full release list:
  • Pixel Junk Racers full game (£4.99)
  • Aqua Vita PlayStation Eye game (£1.99)
  • Operation Creature Feature PlayStation Eye game (£3.49)
  • Trials of Topoq PlayStation Eye game (£3.49)
  • Eye Create PlayStation Eye application (free)
  • Tony Hawk's Proving Grounds demo (free)
  • Ratchet and Clank demo (free)
  • "The Kidnapped Folk" Folklore add-on (£1.49)
  • Motorstorm "Halloween Livery" add-on (free)
  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma "Rachel Master" add-on (£2.99)
  • Tekken 5: DR Online mode trailer (free)
  • Eye of Judgment Introduction trailer (free)
  • Toy Home trailer (free)
  • Midnight Club LA trailer (free)
  • Metal Gear Online TGS trailer (free)
  • Courage Under Fire Blu-Ray trailer (free)
  • Beowulf movie trailer (free)
  • Stardust movie trailer (free)
Not bad, eh? Not bad at all. Good luck getting onto the store, however. At the time of writing we're currently timing out on every connection attempt. Once we finally get on we're excited to try out the first Folklore downloadable content and, come tomorrow, the new PlayStation Eye titles.

[Thanks Ciaran!]

4. I think we can safely NOT whine about the EU PSN for once. Well that is, except it seems to be a bit week in the knees for the moment.

5. Yup, not able to log on to either the Euro PSN Store, the Euro PS website. My American friend (ahem!) tells me that the American store is similarly not responding.

11. There was a post about the US PSN update on the playstation blog, but then they took it down again...

It didn't mention the eye games (only create) so maybe thats why. It did have piyotama halloween skin though, so my wife will be happy :D

13. Man, the EU got a really great update! I wish the U.S. store would have gotten some of those Eye Create apps, those look sweet! I don't have Eye Judgement, as I've never tried those cards games and don't think they'd appeal to me, but if they released those extra apps before the camera goes on sale by its self, I'll def. get it! I need to get me an Euro CC lol >.>;

14. Anyone else looking at the PS EYE in the picture above and thinking the same as me...? A large number of people with PS3s have LCD/Plasma TVs and these things are normally pretty slim. The best place to put a PS EYE would be on the top of said TV but without some type of clip on the base of the PS EYE it looks as though it might come down to a balancing act using that half-circle stand that it has.
