6. This is interesting news-- we see more and more of this, and it shows that Sony is leveraging it's power to keep the ps3 alive. It may be actually good that they started out at a loss and that there has been so much whining about price-- if ps3's were selling like Wii's, Sony would not have had to go to these extremes, or would have taken their time doing it.
They are showing their adeptness at finding and using resources in various ways to ensure the ps3 is bought.

7. Infineon? That's the same name as the company that (nearly) brought us the awesome Phantom console. Or maybe they're still bringing it.
If I were Sony I'd pick a tech partner with a better name.
