Whoops, Killzone 2 is not Halo 3

The BBC featured a report on the hotly anticipated Halo 3 launch. The video shows some of the crowds waiting for Xbox 360's FPS behemoth, and even features an interview from Shane Kim. Too bad the video footage they used was from Killzone 2, a game we hear won't make it on the Xbox 360. Whoops!

4. It's just funny since someone doing the report didn't know left from right in the world of gaming.

5. "It's just funny since someone doing the report didn't know left from right in the world of gaming."

That's an odd thing to say, considering you were the same guy posting this a few days ago:

"And as for Forza, Saints Row, and Crackdown, I never heard of them. "

10. God! All those BBC fucktards were being such condescending cunts!

11. Gotta love how biased the critics are with Halo 3. Here's one review from metacritic.com

"The story just isn’t put-together well enough, the graphics are disappointing, and the levels have you constantly running back and forth. Yes, if all of these things were rectified, the game would be spectacular. But they’re not."

That's from Gamer 2.0 review.. and guess what they gave Halo. A 88. It seems that reviewers are afriad to give Halo 3 a bad score.

12. I think Resistance:FOM is the game that features religious aspects.

13. Arrghh! I haven't been able to play embedded video from gametrailers.com on any site since forever now. Any videos from any other sites work, I've checked my firewall settings, I've tried freakin' everything. I've googled the crap out of my problem, I've dug through gametrailers support and forums and still can't find an answer anywhere. Please, for the love of god, does anybody have an idea what's going on?

14. @Frank

When did you develop a personal vendetta against me? I don't own a xbox, so I just never heard of those games, except recently with your mentioning of it and the announcement of Saints Row 2. I vaguely recall a racing game, GTA clone, and I'm not sure about the third. Get off my case, would ya?

But anyways, is it still being called Killzone 2? I thought Guerilla Games are calling it Killzone: Liberation now.

15. wow MS has to resort to this to sell halo 3 wow ... LMAO .. just kidding i swear.

Posted at 11:25PM on Sep 25th 2007 by sectionz

16. plyx - If you find the vid on GameTrailers you can choose what format to play it in. This won't fix your embed problem (I don't think) but at least you can watch the vid...

17. Killzone: Liberation is a mad awesome PSP game. Killzone 2 is a PS3 game...

18. lol @ Halo being a religious game,it all makes sense now.

Posted at 11:33PM on Sep 25th 2007 by FM

19. @15
Contrary to popular belief, MS does not own the BBC.
@18
Of course Halo is a religious game, Master Chief is Jesus remember.
@Everyone else
Us gamers see the distinction between halo 3 and killzone 2 as huge common knowledge for us. I wonder what other industries/stories/facts they fuck up like this on a daily basis.

Posted at 11:56PM on Sep 25th 2007 by Kris

20. BBC == Brittish Bollocks Corp.

And is doing their usual fact checking, as always...

Anyway, I think both games are cool in their own right. I just don't like MS' giant publicity machine steamrolling over the consumers though - just look at that gamer fuel stuff! x_x I swear - it tastes like a cross between 2 week old piss and benadril... hopefully Sony forgoes all that and just shows off lots of neat gameplay! (Although I think maybe some Heilghasts can scare the crap out of some Canadians, like MC did with the Koreans! XD Canadians scare real easy! Take my word for it!) =P

Halo3 = Win for MS fans
Killzone2 = Win for Sony fans
Nuff said. =)
