Take a gander at the first Project Origin trailer

If you liked the first, you'll like the second. That's about all we can figure from this first trailer for the sequel to F.E.A.R., given the extra title of Project Origin. To some, the trailer will show more of the same -- slow motion, creepy girl, explosions, blood. To others, it will show them something exciting, something vaguely familiar, but something they've wanted more of since playing the original. No matter which side of the line you end up standing on, the trailer is worth a look and the game probably worth a test run. We'll keep you posted as the game progresses.

4. Looks cool, but the questions now are:

-Does it fix all the stuff that people didn't like about the first one?
-Is it STILL IN OFFICE BUILDINGS ONLY??
-Are the consoles getting custom versions of the new engine instead of gimped ports with crappy frame rates?(yes even the 360 version)
-Are there any new features that are implemented that aren't already in the first game?

These are questions I will need answered before I even considering downloading a demo....whenever it comes.

5. Looks good. I want to know more about this one's story, though. THEN I might consider buying it.

6. Ok, I loved the first game, though I must say, this still looks like it's only in office buildings. I think I did hear they were gonna have more varied locations though in the full game. One other thing though, the graphics don't seem to be that major of a step up from the first game, almost identical, with maybe slightly better animation(the 1st game's was already superb). I'm sure I'll still get it but, I just like each sequal in games to generally be a major step up, especially considering the 1st one was released almost 2 years ago.

7. As a PC gamers (Fps mainly), this trailer just makes me sad.

1) Looks identical to FEAR. I see the same guns, the same corridors, the same enemies and the same boring slow motion effects. Could easily be scenes from the first game and i wouldn't know. Biggest difference i saw was a new hud

2)Graphics look the same as FEAR, which is fairly outdated by todays standards if you ask me.

3)This game wasn't amazing, revolutionary, interesting or even mould breaking when it first came out...A sub standard sequel using the same engine is going to really bore people.

Seriously, this trailer is so full of generic shootan, i can almost see it oozing out of the window.

And here i thought you couldn't get any more generic than halo ¬_¬.

9. OMG!!! That was freaking insane!!! I love this game, hopefully this time they'll add voice support for the PS3 version, then it wont be worthless (If they dont have it I'll be forced to get the PC version)
