L.A. Noire to solve mysteries in 2009, begrudgingly

To think, we could almost see the detective clad in his tweed suit smoking a long cigarette while listening to a dame prattle on about her issues she needs a P.I. to look into. Ah, the good ol' days of Noire, we so were looking forward to you in the PS3 exclusive L.A. Noire. But Rockstar stomped all over these dreams recently, stating the title is going to miss the entire 2008 fiscal year, which effectively puts it into 2009. That's a long ways off.

It's not like we aren't used to hearing about a delay every now and then, but having a title pushed back into 2009 is fairly vicious for gamers. L.A. Noire takes a seat next to Resident Evil 5, it seems. Luckily, we're patient, as we'd like every game to take all the time it needs during development to mature and become the best it can. So, while we're upset that this game got delayed, we're not too concerned. It could've been Metal Gear Solid 4, after all. We'll manage!

1. They have a team of over 100 people and they cannot finish a game in 4 years?

I know games take a long time to develop but this seems excessive.

2. thats too bad .. but they will need a game in between the GTA and the other Exclusive IP which we have NO idea will be yet ... does anyone think there is a chance we find out at TGS?

3. @3

Your right but they can also make it a PS3 exclusive! So don't count your pennies too soon! LoL

4. I believe fiscal ends October 31st, so they very well could be planning a HOLIDAY 2008 release in November/December. Games sell best during the holidays, especially a potential system seller.

5. Maybe they are just waiting until enough people have a PS3 that it will be profitable to have the game as an exclusive. 2009 sounds about right...

7. Depends which country you're in to when the FSY is.. I always thought Rockstar was UK based... I'm probably wrong though...

No it's the fact that every single comment you have posted on ps3fanboy is trying to bring it down... Hence being TROLL!
I'm sure ps3fanboy and its fans don't need to read your comments if they are always intended to flame the PS3... Point is...
You posting on here really shows you are threaten by the PS3 and its popularity, which is why you need to put a negative spin on all the positive news here to make you sleep better at night. But all in all, it just makes you look like a total cock.
So if you hate Sony and the PS3, hate them elsewhere where you have other cocks that are in the same frame of mind such as yourself.
