Sega announces Viking: Battle for Asgard for the PS3/360

Sega has announced a new bloody action/adventure game based in Norse mythology, titled Viking: Battle for Asgard. Planned for release on both the PS3 and the 360 in 2008, the game has you playing a violent warrior attempting to fend off an undead army bent on bringing about Ragnarok. Screenshots show a huge amount of onscreen characters and what appears to be two distinct forces -- so it looks like you may end up fighting in real battles, not God of War-esque 'one man against the world' type gameplay.
