EU PSN Store updating at 5pm today according to ThreeSpeech

Those of you who are upset that the EU PSN Store didn't update with any E3 trailers yesterday, don't fret. We'll be seeing some of the videos that appeared on the US Store yesterday appearing at around 5pm BST (GMT +1). We're happy to see the content come to the EU stores, but wonder why it wasn't done simultaneously with the US releases. There's the possibility that Sony noticed the European responses to the content drop and decided to remedy the situation. Here's the list of content that ThreeSpeech has reported will be released today:
There will also be a Ratchet and Clank and GT5 trailer coming next week. Sure, there's not quite as much content as on the US store, but at least the big trailers are in there. In fact, we have new content in the form of the WipEout HD trailer, which hasn't been released on the US store.

We're not sure whether this is our complete store update for this week, as it usually happens on a Friday. We'll keep you posted.

1. Bit of a longshot here, but what if the servers for the Euro PSN are the same ones as the North American servers? If that was the case, they'd have good reason to stagger the releases for the videos, since it almost killed their servers yesterday with just the NA users downloading them.

2. get it right!! the store updates are usually every thursday. most of the time in the late afternoon. there arent on fridays.

3. @Tony. He is referring to Europe, not anywhere else. Their PSN is usually updated on Fridays.

4. I think its a combination of Stef's comment, and the fact that they're having an announcement or 'response' to North America's price drop.

So maybe they'll have their own Phil Harrison interview on their store or something? Haha.

I'm still waiting for their whole live conference deal to be up on the PS Store here >

5. I think Stef is right here. The NA PSN store was crippled yesterday with the barrage of downloading. The interface remained quick and nimble (and the L1/R1 paging is a blessing) but the downloads were seriously lacking bandwidth. If most of Europe was leeching from the NA store at the same time that explains the meltdown.

6. If its true that they are on the same server it isn't doing them any good to seperate them for a day since nearly everybody in Europe has an US account aswell...

8. But what happened to the PS1 games? Look like they disappeared with last weeks _major_ update (Nucleus trailer).
