CyberConnect2 announces development on a new PS3 game

CyberConnect2, the company behind the Naruto games and the .hack franchise on the PlayStation 2 have just announced that they are developing a new title for the PlayStation 3. The information comes from the latest issue of Famitsu, and unfortunately lacks any additional information about the project. Could we be getting a new .hack title? Eight games just isn't enough!

5. The G.U. Series was far better than the original series IMO. Haseo was a far more interesting lead character than Kite and the action controls were better than the psudo-strategy of the originals.
Can't wait to see if they are doing a .hack on PS3. Wonder if they'll try to go for online elements - if they don't go for a MMO.

7. Oooh a PS3 .hack would make me a very happy person. Especialy if it had online capabilities. Or at least ones not done in the lazy way Fragment was done.

More likely tho its an entirely new IP. I seem to remember a while back talk of a MMO but they also said it wasnt going to be .hack related. Who knows, this might be it.

8. You're not the only one, LOL. I SO want a new Naruto title. The beauty of a PS3 title would be:

1. Possible online modes, FREE(Online battles, downloads, you name it.)

2. Better graphics.

3. More characters, modes, and extras.

4. Best of all; It's region free, meaning I don't have to buy a second system or ruin my warranty. :p
