Take-Two's lineup shows L.A. Noire remaining PS3 exclusive

In the recent months, we've seen exclusives deteriorate rapidly. However, from Take-Two Interactive's recent earnings report and scheduled lineup for 2007 through 2008, one such title still remains listed as "PS3." Rockstar's L.A. Noire, a GTA-inspired gangster style drama set in 1940's America, hasn't been mentioned at all (until now) since its initial announcement back in October last year. With poor outlook on Take Two's recent filings and news of impending layoffs, we wonder if L.A. Noire will be able to maintain its PS3 exclusivity for much longer.

Because the video is so darned pleasing to watch, we've once again embedded it for your viewing pleasure. We'll be pleased to get screenshots up once they start rolling in. Over on Team Bondi's website, there have been a slew of job openings during the last month, which might indicate a final push for the title's impending release. Hmmm ... perhaps if one of our readers could infiltrate Team Bondi headquarters, they could convince the devs to toss some screenshots our way. We promise we would share. Just an idea.

1. I hope so...but not likely. Even Rockstar is supporting Microsoft more these days with exclusives like Table Tennis. EXCEPT THEY FORGET TO GIVE ME BULLY FOR MY XBOX.

2. Sorry I am still mad about that. It was supposed to be released for my Xbox but Microsoft only cares about their newest console. You 360ers are going to have an obsolete machine only one year after Microsoft releases a new console. (I actually got a PS3 just to play Bully)

3. I'm sure there are others, but outside of Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4 and Mercenaries2, what ps3 exclusives have gone multiplatform? I'm talking about games that were announced as exclusive then lost that status btw, not just "should have been" titles.

4. Can we stop with the microsoft replacing the 360 with another console in a year or two joke? Seriously, It's getting to repeatative and unfunny like the Wii jokes.

I bought my xbox in 2003. 2 years and it went to the dump because microsoft didn't want to keep it going. I don't feel slided by it at all. In fact I was happy they were focusing on the future. For me I wanted games that matched the pcs and for along time the xbox/ps2/GC wasn't cutting it for me. I played more games on my computer becuase 480p on a 65 inch 1080i tv wasn't very pretty. That's why I bought a 360. I loved that it matched my pc's ability. (the ps3 does as well) Now I have a 65 inch 1080p tv with a 1080p console, it's the perfect world for me. Plus it helps my eyes out alot better too. When I go back to playing my xbox I feel like my eyes are being cut open with a knife.

6. @7
Its Rockstar were talking about. One of the best devolopers in the world. I will get this if it is exclusive but if not...maybe.

When I buy a console I want it to last more than 3.5 years. I should have got a PS2 last gen and I am not making the same mistake twice. So I got a PS3. (just hope I'm not wrong...again)

7. Gameplay? The trailer is very impressive (physics, lighting, animation quality) but is it just GTA in the 1940's or what?

8. agree with with 8 rockstar does one hell of a job on anything they develope. the one exception, for me anyway, is red dead revolver but one lame ass game cant tarnish all the great games they put out. so i have high hopes for la noir.
