Things don't look too different from the original in this first gameplay trailer of Rock Band 2. Sure, there are some more ... psychedelic elements to the visuals, and Everlong by the Foo Fighters. Though with 17 of the songs from the impressive leaked tracklist having been correct so far, more of the same isn't going to bother too many of you.

New Afrika trailer and Japanese release date
No, you're not dreaming. This is gameplay footage of Afrika -- and when we say "gameplay" we don't mean "in-engine animal animations." This trailer actually shows the protagonist and actual gameplay mechanics and everything. Sadly, our dreams of a secret mutation laboratory where animal DNA is combined to form hideous Saharan monsters were all for naught. This is Pokemon Snap for adults.
The Japanese release date has also been revealed as August 28th. There's no word on an American release yet, but SCEE has said that a European release won't be happening. Chances are this game might not make it out of Japan, which would be a shame. Check out the official website for more info.
Siren Blood Curse debut trailer features more English than before
Siren: Blood Curse looks set to terrify PlayStation 3 owners when it launches this Summer in the US and Europe. Tsubasa Inaba, Senior Producer for the game, has posted a new trailer up on the PlayStation Blog for all of you phobophiles out there. This video is different from the one on the European PSN Store but is easily as, if not more, scary. We hope to hearing more about this episodic scare-a-thon on the PlayStation Blog soon, including the release date for the first episode. We're hoping soon.
The Metal Gear Solid 4 theatrical trailer
Kojima's games all feel like movies. Well, looks like Konami's treating MGS4 like a real summer blockbuster. This adrenaline-packed theatrical trailer cuts the game into a popcorn-frenzied affair, and it pulls all the right stops. It even has the all-familiar trailer narrator say now-cliche lines, like "this summer..." We hope to see this trailer on the silver screens here in the States -- we think it'll do rather well.
No more Metal Gear Solid 4 trailers
Did you know that there have been nine trailers for Metal Gear Solid 4 already? And that game's not even coming out until 2008. Why does Kojima Productions love making such over-the-top presentations? Ryan Payton explains to MTV: "Making epic trailers of our upcoming titles has been a tradition of our studio ever since we unveiled the original Metal Gear Solid at E3 in 1997 ... I think that really set the stage for what has become an integral part of our studio's approach to making games."
Trailers are a vital part of the Metal Gear tradition. Trailers for Metal Gear Solid 2 single-handedly proved the power of the PS2 back in its infancy and became one of the must-have games for the platform. Such heritage means that the team at Kojima must meet constantly high expectations. "I think we're afraid to disappoint people who expect us to make big splashes at every show." In addition, Payton notes, "Trailers are a great way to remind people of one of our studio's strengths - cinematic gaming."
Of course, creating trailers is time-consuming, and now that the game is drawing near its release, the team at Kojima Productions has to focus. Could this mean the end of Metal Gear Solid 4 trailers? Most likely. "TGS 2007 could be the last trailer for "MGS4." The pressure is really on to finish work on the game, and we have decided not to be sidetracked by any more promotional work." The juicy Ridge Racer 7 trailer

We know how much you love actual game coverage, even if its a hit-and-run quickie. But all jokes aside (Riiidge Raaacer!) here's a short but sweet teaser of the 7th installment to the franchise.
There's no official word yet on a release date, but the racing series has always accompanied a PlayStation launch since 1994. Given the history, it wouldn't be a surprise to see this on shelves come November. When I said this was short, I wasn't kidding: it only clocks in at a little over a minute.
Full version of Tekken 6 trailer available

Check out the shaky cam action someone scooped from E3 this year. It's not too bad, but it will give you the full Tekken 6 trailer treatment you may have been looking for. Unfortunately, it's a little stiff on actual gameplay footage. Instead you'll see some cinematic FMV sequences that show off some of the characters pretty nicely. Clocking in at a little over five minutes, you can check it out by clicking above.
[EDIT: Fixed the player- Sorry all!]
Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer for everyone else

Here's a bandwidth-friendly download of the full MGS4 trailer that you can stream. It packs more punch than its three minute counterpart, but alas - there are no subs for the Japanese dialogue. Of course that doesn't take away from the overall experience, so give it a download and check it out for yourself.
Lair off-screen trailer looked good at GDC
Stills and screenshots can only do so much to convey how good a game looks. Here's an off-screen video presentation of Lair recorded from GDC, showing off the Factor 5 game in action (or, should we say, motion).
You might recognize some of the animation from videos seen elsewhere, but it was nice to catch the newer footage of a dragon wireframe model meticulously rendered with layers of musculature and skin, too.
If that's not enough for ya, you can always just listen in to the audio, which features a young lady from Washington asking questions of a developer with the hope of getting hired. Consider this a lesson in networking.
