There is a lot of potential in this remake and Aquaplus obviously spent a lot of time on it. Will we see it outside of Japan? If Sony is smart, perhaps. They seem to have forgotten a large portion of their fanbase they built with their previous consoles hinged on the fact they delivered the most JRPG's of all. C'mon Sony, throw us a bone here!

JRPG Tears to Tiara gets a video, waits for an audience
Because you know you want a JRPG for your PS3, you will watch this video for Tears to Tiara, a remake of a PC title from a couple of years back. Think Fire Emblem meets Thousand Arms. We expect difficult, strategic battles mixed in with almost embarrassing dating-sim momemts. What do you guys think? Will this even land anywhere outside of Japan, or will it stay local like Agarest Senki?

Tears to Tiara gains PS3 release date?

But Play-Asia is the most interesting as it dates the game for a July 17th release -- where before this almost nothing was known. We'll keep looking for more information as RPGs in most forms are basically nonexistent on the PS3 aside from, arguably, Folklore. At least, outside of Japan.
