It's E3. It shouldn't be surprising that Sony would release a brand new trailer for their upcoming Motorstorm sequel. It may look like more of the same, but in this case, "more" really means a lot more. Seeing the franchise finally leave the desert for a bit more varied territory is refreshing -- some of these levels look incredibly epic in scope. We have some hands-on time with the game coming up, and we'll be able to report to you guys very soon. Until then, enjoy the new trailer and new screenshots:

MotorStorm Pacific Rift features photo mode, custom soundtracks
There's a bigger, badder and more badass sequel coming out this year. You guessed it: MotorStorm Pacific Rift. There's more to be excited about in the sequel other than interactive vegetation. Pacific Rift is also going to add a number of commonly requested features, such as a Photo Mode, which allows you to take screenshots from within the game to store and share on your PS3. There's also Custom Soundtracks, which allows you to play music from your hard drive, so you can finally drive around thrashing to Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne (if you so choose).
Sixteen tracks. Twenty player online multiplayer. Custom soundtracks. Photo mode. Monster trucks. It really looks like Pacific Rift is really going above and beyond the original's offerings. Video, after the cut.
