We will learn absolutely nothing substantial about Final Fantasy XIII

This is a no brainer and a very sad one at that, given that this is the next big third party exclusive. The reason why we believe we won't learn anything about Final Fantasy XIII or anything about Fabula Nova Crystallis is because Square Enix already has its own plans for August. They have the Square Enix party.

At the same time, Tetsuya Nomura has hinted quite a bit about reveals for that August event and Tokyo Game Show. No mention of E3. Then again, the company was quick to cover up Nomura's statements on other points, so that's probably not the best reference. Still, don't expect too much from Square Enix -- they are good at keeping a low profile while at the same time driving demand.
