PS2 games for PSN; software emulation

This one just screams preposterous. It's certainly very difficult to accept that this might be something to appear as part of Sony's press conference agenda. First off, the PSN Store hardly even supports PlayStation One games through digital distribution; what more of a chance is there for PS2 games?

Even then, the PlayStation 2 is still a very strong platform. It wouldn't make sense for Sony to make a move like this unless PS2 software wasn't selling on discs. There are a lot of reasons for this not to be true; however, several recent rumors have been proven to be true. We'll see come E3.
