It's another catch-up week this week, as the US finally gets its hands on
Civilization Revolution and Asia is given
Dark Sector and
Kane & Lynch (though probably wishes it wasn't.) Europe is barren this week and the only new release of the bunch probably won't appeal to many people, unless you really love your Olympics. Here's the full release list:
US Games
EU Games
No new releases
Asian Games
Release dates are constantly subject to change, so be sure to check with your local store for the official dates.

Seeing that picture of 'Cleopatra' makes me a little sad actually. One would think that a series like Civilisation would manage to get her looks and ethnicity right. She was a greek woman decendant from one of Alexander the Great's generals, not a decendant of the old Egyptian Pharaohs which the Civilisation Revolution image gives the impression of. In fact one could ask if she truly is a good candidate for representing the Egyptian civilisation at all.

clap clap for mr. serious. if you've ever actually played the game, you'd notice that all of the world leaders are extreme charactures. i doubt Ceasar was a blonde surfer who said "primo" either. it's a game.

Played the demo of Civ Revolution, and as a Civ enthusiast, I'm highly disappointed. Cartooned it up way too much, I hate the babble-speak the characters use (I remember the days of CivII where there was FMV interaction for your advisers), and the game play controls need desperate work. Civilization (2-4) are just about the only games I keep installed on my PC nowadays. Looks like that won't be changing any time soon.

I have to heartily disagree. Civ Rev is everything I'm looking for in a console version of Civilization.
I can always fire up the PC for a multi-day session, but there are many times I don't want to commit that much time of effort (and too much micromanagement) to play.
I've played the demo to death, and it looks to me the only flaw in the game is the lack of a map editor/custom maps. It will be awesome to play this game to its conclusion as I had some really nice civs going on when that demo-end turn rolled around.
I'll be at the store tomorrow with my cash in hand...
