Sharp eyes from
ScoreHero forum-goers have led to a possible set list leak for
Rock Band 2. Spotted on a preview from X-Play, we now have a list of some songs that could either be: 1) new songs for
Rock Band 2, or 2) future DLC. Here's a list of what you can see from the screenshot above:
- "Panic Attack" - Dream Theater (or Finger Eleven)
- "Chop Suey" - System of a Down
- "Give It Away" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
- "Everlong" - Foo Fighters
- "Kids in America" - Kim Wilde
- "Ace of Spades" - Motorhead
- "Hello There" - Cheap Trick
- "Anyway You Want It" - Journey
- "Pinball Wizard" - The Who
Also note, songs that weren't mentioned on the list above were left out because they are currently available for purchase. If any of these songs prove to be true, whether DLC or on the next disc, then we're certainly happy with what the future of
Rock Band holds.

Pretty nice list.
Also notice that the symbol by the "new" songs are different than the already available songs. Since the DLC is the same for both games, if any of the "new" songs were DLC, they would more than likely have the same symbol as "More than a feeling" and "All the small things".
So I'm guessing the new songs are all disc-based.

Is it just me, or were songs like everlong and chop suey confirmed for the next guitar hero as well. If so, then this is a great thing because that means that exclusive bands are not a reality right now. That means I wont have to buy 2 plastic drum sets. Great news. Oh, and Rock Band ftw.

OMFG!!!!
I know this isn't true, but i swear I would flip out if it was.
Like, beyond all measure.
Panic Attack by Dream Theater is cool, but I would be tempted to kill my grandmother for this game if it was the Panic Attack you guys forgot to mention.
The best one there is (and I'm a huge Dream Theater fan).
I'm talking about the Panic Attack by Atmosphere.
They should use stuff from other Dream Theater albums.
You know... good ones.
Flame away, but don't hate unless you've heard Atmosphere. Especially "When Life Gives You Lemons..."

If that's Dream Theaters Panic Attack, then I will undoubtedly be getting this game just for one song (which will be ridiculously hard I might add)

I am pretty much 99% sure that this is a image from "Rock Band Tracks Pack 1" for the PS2. I am not sure if it is coming out for PS3. The Track packs is a DISK based expansion for those who cannot download additional songs...
Playstation.com even has it up for vote, for GAP'ers in the ps2 "top 3" of the month

I would KILL for the full album of Blood, Sugar, Sex Magic. Even though I can play pretty much all of the guitar and bass from it, it would still be fun.

I could only wish for 'Panic Attack' to be the Dream Theater version, but considering that the song is listed under 'Solid' for difficulty, I have to believe it is definitely not DT. The difficulty of most DT songs would definitely put them into the 'good luck passing this one' category. And DT's Panic Attack is blistering.

If they have a bunch of System of a Down's best songs, this game will destroy Guitar Hero with no hesitation.

i'm glad to see you guys actually know Dream Theater... to me they never got the fame they deserved. I was really wondering all this time why they never put a single DT song in any guitar hero game or rock band for that matter
