I'm going to rent this and beat it and that's going to be that.
I think 60 bucks or 50 is a little too much.
It should've been dlc for the 360 and PS3 and priced at 39.99. But then again you wouldn't be able to get rid of it as easy.
Yea too much Aerosmith.

I agree give it to Ps3 and 360 owners as a huge dlc pack for like 40 bucs would have been an awesome price/game pack and made up for their lack of Dlc compared to Rockband.
Release the bundles and standalone at the usual price points to allow people to pay full price for disks.
However, that would never happen as a multiplatform release due to Microsoft. They won't let you download files over a couple hundred megs. If this was a Ps3 exclusive i could have very easily seen this being an option much like warhawk and gt5p and a very attractive one at that.
Maybe one day activision will realize they could do this as a PS3 bonus and give us this option while leaving 360 owners sad they can only buy the disk version.

I too am saddened to see no " I don't Want to miss a thing"
I really enjoy that game plus even though it was one of aerosmith last song it is one of there biggest. So I would have thought it would be on there. I would have loved to play at the Superbowl playing that song.

I'll stick to just getting the Rock Band DLC I want instead of $60 for a few songs I want and a bunch I don't. I must say though, Joe Perry's Shakin' My Cage would be great fun and I do wonder what his guitar battle is like.

I predict this will be in the bargain bin after the holidays. Then maybe I'll pick up a copy for the few good songs it has. Or I'll buy a used one. But there's no way I'm paying $60 for this. Greed Hero

This includes new character models, venues, and songs... so for those of you that want to download a 10 gig file... it isn't going to happen... I'm going to wait for MetallicA, but I thought they did a good job of including the most rocking songs (Train kept a rollin) and leaving out the lame ones (who ever said I don't wanna miss a thing should be in this, please lock yourself in a vault, that song ruined them IMO, because they play it at every show... gay). It would have been lame if it was just songs, but they put a ton of stuff in the game, mo cap and so forth, so quit hating.

I would buy this game if they'd got Aerosmith's version of "Come Together"
But without it, it's not going anywhere for me.

Wow, so many people bitchin and complaining. Well of course to all the little PS3 fanboys trying to "blame" 360's XBL Download limit. Well, FYI, if they did release it as a DLC they could have split it up into different packs. Also that would be DUMB on their part because then not ALL of the tracks would have been purchased but just a few from each "Tier". Then of course you have all the little RB fanboys who have to go and say stuff like "I'll just keep my RB DLC" or "Good thing I have/jumped to RB".
Do you guys forget that they are a COMPANY, and most COMPANIES are out there trying to make MONEY? Kind of a reason why ALOT if not ALL of you guys that just come and post negative stuff about everything do not have your own company. I'd like to see some of you guy's get your own development started and then make a game for PS3/360 and then "listen" to the fans and go make a bunch of free DLC. Heck, I'm pretty sure PS3 and 360 has some kind of charge that has to be paid for companies to even host the content. So you guys go and make the "Perfect" music/rythem game, go get bands permission to put their music in it, and then post new songs/albums once a week at no cost to the customers and let's see how long you last untill you start to charge for either an expansion pack or DLC.
Also, don't even start with the crying about how you can't "transfer" the music packs/songs you purchased as DLC on GH3 because no one has ever said that you HAVE to sell/trade/give-away GH3 nor that you cannot play/use your GH3 game after you get GH:A or even GH:WT for that matter. Because if you absolutely wanted to play songs that are on GH3 that are either automatically there or one's you've purchased you can still put your GH3 disc in and still play those songs. Unless your THAT LAZY to get up off the couch to change disc's, well then you have another problem all together.
Now, I do agree with some points on some of the more popular songs isn't in the list, but oh well. THere's still a good amount of songs in it and who knows, the one's that we would have liked to have been released might come out later down the road as DLC. Also I like how there are songs that I have never even heard or heard of. So they could be trying to put some of their more unknown songs to get people interested because they know that if they put some of the song's thats not automatically on the game they can put it out as DLC at a furture date (again, that's not to "screw" people or fans, but so they can MAKE MONEY just like every business out there is set on doing).
So it just comes down to, either you buy it or you don't. But the few of you complaining and what not is not going to make or break a game, even if you don't buy it won't stop other people from getting it and or make a dent in it making a tons of money that everyone at Activision knows its going to make.
Ugh... Fanboys... Old already... Grow up...

Like you guys said...DLC on a disc. I'm not interested. If it was Metallica, I would think about it, but I'm not about to shell out that much more money for a few more songs (most of which I dont care for). I'll stick to Rock Band DLC until someone does better.
