Because we love the style of the game -- from graphics to gameplay, we thought you'd also enjoy
this Mirror's Edge video interview. The senior producer for the game, Owen O'Brien, talks a bit about Faith and the construction of the city she gets to run around in. Apparently, the city is very "monitored" and the citizens don't like that. So, they've gone back to the courier system of sending messages to one another. That puts the running in perspective and why you should probably make your way to your client as quickly as possible. It's a pretty excellent interview as it clears up a lot of mysterious bits about the game, so even if you're vaguely interested, check it out!

Totally cool premise that will no doubt be marred by EA's suck-factor. I predict a solid 70% on gamerankings though, which is quit good for EA.

The guy didn't really give much detail about how the gameplay would actually work, did he?

Uhhh.....Gamestop has had the following description listed on their website for at least 6 weeks:
"in a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed and now you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith - and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story."

This game is being made by Dice, same developers for BF:Bad Company, so I have some faith in them. No pun intended.

I'm sure they looked at Assassin's Creed as well, this game does look like a lot of fun. Another game that will properly utilize sound/music, beautiful.

notice how he says "you play one of these runners at the START of the game". Could be hinting that there is more to the game than the freerunning they are showing off.

We basically all have, since that trailer / in-game footage first aired. Dice surely have struck a nerve for many many people with that one.
I hope it's not just because of the soundtrack, though. Imagine the same footage with some very bad heavy metal tune running in the background...
