If you're curious about what's going on with Q-Games and the PixelJunk franchise, we've
located a little bit of news to satisfy your 2D urges. First up --
PixelJunk Eden is to get a playable demo in July. This is coming from Dylan Cuthbert's mouth (well, technically, keyboard), so take it as official. Cuthbert wants everyone to experience the game before its final release, which is a nice gesture.
A second piece of information was the
YouTube uploading feature, which isn't anything new, but still very cool. Finally, Cuthbert wants to do one more small,
free patch to
PixelJunk Monsters. He's requesting what you would like to see in the patch, so
let him know. Our idea? A hint on how to best approach each level would be dandy.

Online multiplayer... LOL
Seriously though, I like the idea about offering hints ("Double Team"... *sigh*)
How about some more towers or new enemies?

Yep, that would make Pixel Junk Monsters an endless game. I love it!

I love the idea, but that would probably need to cost money considering how long it would take to implement.
The best thing I can think of that is quick, would be a menu where we can tweak values and what not. Like what speed the monsters run in (double fast monsters, FTW) or give ourselves limitations in how many coins we can collect, etc. Maybe that wouldn't be as easy to implement as I think, but if it were, it would be pretty cool. Mostly I just want a sequel to Pixeljunk Monsters...and not an entirely new type of game with the only similarity being the name pixeljunk.

Online cooperative would be great. So would level editor. And also, carrying special abilities over. Either between the islands, or between single/cooperative on each island, respectively.
Trophies would be cool I guess but it doesn't excite me that much personally.

I agree, "Double Team" is insanely hard. I must have played it 100 times by now. Still can't get a rainbow.
*ugh*
How about being able to restart a level from wave 5, 10 or 15? It is really annoying to play for 15 minutes, only to have to start over because one spider slips through at the last second.
I'm also not sure how effective the "screen burn-in" feature is. I'd like to see the logo fade out and disappear right after each wave starts. I've had the coins, score and monsters at the bottom of the screen start to burn in. So, even though the logo is not as white as before, I still think it causes burn-in.
