The songs included in the Coldplay pack will be "Violet Hill," from the new album "Viva la Vida," along with earlier songs "Yellow" and "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face." This marks the third of five announced DLC packs for the month of June, with two more yet to be announced. We have to say, the Guitar Hero III DLC is definitely gathering steam. Shame it couldn't have been this good back in November, when the game first released.

Yes, because when I think about rockin' guitar tracks for Guitar Hero I immediately think Coldplay. That should bring your party to a screeching halt!

So yeyness for new awesome tracks by Coldplay ^_^
Still debating on whether to spend extra for RockBand though, seeing as i always have the option of stealing my mates GHIII when the urge takes me.

GH3 really should stop and think. Yes the DLC as a good step and long awaited, but they should turn around and remember the title of the game, 'Guitar Hero'. We need alot more 'Guitar Hero' focussed music in the DLC, thats one thing that would really set it apart from rock band. I wanna see tracks from the true guitar heroes! i want: Vai, Malmsteen, Satch, Paul Gilbert, Dream Theatre, Van Halen, Extreme, HENDRIX!!! Activision, you can do ALOT better!

So does the PlayStation store have all the DLC for GHIII? I'm waay behind on getting the game and having wired internet. And Coldplay isn't terrible, but guitar heavy tracks would be smart. Maybe Activision is prepping for Guitar Hero: World Tour too...

Hmm, I quite like the riff towards the end of 'Violet Hill', and 'God Put A Smile Upon Your Face' is a great song, but I agree with some of the posters above, we want DLC with rocking guitars and shredding solos, not just popular songs 'with a bit of guitar in them'...
