So, gvgnumber1 from YouTube managed to trick a Wal-Mart employee into selling him a Metal Gear Solid 4 system early. And, he's unboxed it for the entire world to see. As of now, he doesn't know if he should keep it or sell it, but feel free to enjoy this lucky b*stard's ability to get his hands on MGS4 so much earlier than the rest of y'all.

i dont know though, i used to work in the electronics section at K-Mart and i sold somebody Crackdown on 360 before the release date (i was pretty new at the time). no one even said anything about it. but i do assume Walmart runs a tighter ship than K-Mart.

At first I bought the 60GB version back in march 2007, then I bought a 40GB version in January 2008, & the last one - which I'm using at the moment -, is another 40GB model, I never really liked to buy a unit with half baked B/C, it's either with or without, so I chose the unit which makes less noise & heat! ;p call me crazy I don't care, I'm planning to buy my 4th unit but I'm waiting for Sony to replace their 80GB Model with a more elite, superior "eye catching" unit .. like that wasn't enough ;p

You aren't the only one with mutiple systems. I have two 60gb models; one that's opened and in use and the other that's still in the box and is a backup incase the first goes out on me and Sony can't fix it. I got it last October at Best Buy and it was the last one they had in stock. It was going for $499. The moment I saw it I knew I had to have it since Sony had already discontinued that particular SKU. I'm glad I did so. Since I have been reading on this site that Sony apparently doesn't have the parts anymore that that model, it is sort of a weight off of my mind.

Hopefully Sony will make sure the parts for the 60 gb are available for its lifetime. They should just make the 80 gb with hardware BC available so that owners who need it down start s**** in their pants if their 60 gb's go down.
I'm probably going to pick up the MGS bundle so that my friend can play with me on the PSN (no, I'm not that generous of an individual, it's a long story...)

Paulmichael, I'm not joking mate. I used to have three, but I sold the 60GB unit and one of the two 40GB units, so I'm left with one that I'm willing to replace with a future Sony SKU.
