Remember Novastrike? It's the upcoming PSN downloadable from our friends at Tiki Games. It's been a while since we saw anything from the game, but it looks like it may be getting a release soon from the looks of this new "release trailer" on GameTrailers. Novastrike brings old-school arcade shooting -- but will it be able to compete against the PSN darling Super Stardust HD? We'll find out soon enough (perhaps).

Looks interesting... Not sure how it'll do against Super Stardust HD and Everyday Shooter, but interesting... (Of course, most interested in such shooters have already DL'd the latter two, so another might not hurt...)

I feel sorry for these kind of shooters that come onto psn because they are always compared to super stardust HD, and then people see them as being inferior and not worth the money even if the game might be good.
People have to realise not every shooter is a SSHD or an everyday shooter.
Its the same with racers in the same genre as wipeout.
