Siren Blood Curse debut trailer features more English than before
Siren: Blood Curse looks set to terrify PlayStation 3 owners when it launches this Summer in the US and Europe. Tsubasa Inaba, Senior Producer for the game, has posted a new trailer up on the PlayStation Blog for all of you phobophiles out there. This video is different from the one on the European PSN Store but is easily as, if not more, scary. We hope to hearing more about this episodic scare-a-thon on the PlayStation Blog soon, including the release date for the first episode. We're hoping soon.

I'm actually more excited about this game than Silent Hill 5... Last SH5 gameplay video was disappointing, to say the least. It's like they are trying to make Resident Evil 4 all over again. I hope Siren sells well. The original one is a very underrated game.

Yup yup, agree with you of the above. As long as pricing is right...say 4.99-5.99 per episode, Id love to get into this game.

Im the above.. agree with both, SH is a dead franchise to me after sh0 and sh5 gameplay vids ( sh4 looked even better).
About siren... This been episodic...so you can skip the whole game and just buy the ending or you have to buy all the episodes to finish it... if thats so...then make it a BDdisc please... i love my HDD space.

This game is utterly pointless.
We need *new* content for the PS3, not remakes of PS2 games that bombed.

I hear you completely. Moreover, Im getting sick of the repeated and excessive sequels being made nowadays. It's like the only games companies are willing to get behind are things that are on their umpteenth rev. Give me a new, and interesting type of game, and I'll give you my money as a consumer.
All series, whatever quality they may be, just have to end at some point. What we need now are developers willing to take risk at some new ideas. Im just happy to see something in the pipeline like littlebigplanet, or (to a lesser extent) mirror's edge. Even if the games dont offer something everyone wants, at least they're trying something new...
On a slightly hypocritical note, I'm just itching to play MGS4 next month, and am displeased at the lack of any new info about the FFXIII games.(It seems that some games can withstand sequels much more than others).

Final Fantasy can withstand sequels because while they're set in the same little universe, they rarely share story arcs or characters. Each game is pretty much a different game. It's not like seeing Master Chief for 3 games in a row.

Exactly my point, Popfrogs. I Understand that completely, and Im happy to see it when a game comes along that pulls it off properly. It's when someone forcibly opens a story that had so obviously closed with almost nothing new to add that really irks me.

Does anyone else think the PS3 jingle thing at the end sounds very very similar to the 360's?
