The tournament is team based and is therefore probably better to play with people who you work well with. However, if you don't have any Warhawk playing friends, or need to bolster your team numbers a bit, you can find new team mates in GGL's "Find/Form a Squad" forum.
On the 29th of June the top 32 teams in the ladder will go on to the Elimination Bracket, where they will whittled down to a single winning team. That team will take home Limited Edition Warhawk statues (worth about $50) as well as an exclusive in-game item -- the Champion's Blade. This "replaces the knife weapon in game and looks completely different so that everyone you encounter will know you won the tournament."

My clan's strongest mode is zones, the mode of the tournament, so I anticipate us being in the finals with BSK, also a zones clan.

That's really neat, a new knife that everyone will see... I would love to play against someone with that shanker. any screen shots of it?
BTW does anyone know a good server that many people use their mics in (not annoyingly) I would like to play a more coordinated game, but there are usually only 2-3 people in the server with mics.

Saldy, Warhawk atm is dead to me. After attempting to get into the new Zone modes, I cannot. It hurts when only half the map is available. Gone is the strategy, the fun. It is now a skirmish that lasts the full timer since the score limit is an absurd 7500 points for only 3 zones.
I'm not sure why the changes were made -nor are any other players using mics, it's as if they knew GTA4 multiplayer was coming out and they had to mix it up. In a perfect world I'd get a refund for the 2nd map pack I bought. I rarely get to play the map, and when I do it's such a small area it runs into the same issues mentioned above.
So long Warhawk. Perhaps one day I'll tire of COD4, GTA4, and MGO and wish to find a zone game yet again.

Whoever hosts the match has the option to include the full map or not, if you to whine then go ahead, but realize that you can create your own damn game and include the full map.

Sorry. I only play pro servers. I can't stand those who fly around uselessly in zoneplay. If you can change the settings to pro servers please do share. Otherwise enjoy flying around.
