It's hard to play through Uncharted: Drake's Fortune without wanting to be Nathan Drake at some point or another. Well you may not be able to look like him without major cosmetic surgery, but you can dress like him and, now, fondle his weapon.
An airsoft replica of Drake's gun is available now for $170 at King Of Swords and comes with a free aluminum carrying case. For the full specs check out the site. It's a pretty replica, certainly, but we'd much rather put it in a glass case and stare at it than actually shoot it. Perhaps that's just us.

I used a Beretta M9 (the military's version of the 92F) when I served in the Army. It's a very nice pistol (9mm), but IMO it cannot hold a flame to the M1911 (.45) pistol. One thing I can say, it got me through a tour of Iraq without jamming up!

I have a Springfield M1911 and I've shot at least a thousand rounds through it. It never jammed once until I bought some cheap Wolf steel-jacketed rounds. Using those rounds it jammed all the time, but I blame the ammo, not the gun as it never jammed unless using that crap (did I mention that ammo was cheap?), at least it gave me some un-jamming experience.
.45 vs 9mm for a real life and death situation kinda tips to 9mm for me. For one thing, less power means less kick and easier to handle. Also, 9mm pistols tend to have 10 cap mags vs the 1911's 7. Plus the .45 will make you deaf where as the 9mm will just hurt your ears a bit. The .45 may be a lot more fun to just plink around with, but 9mm seems like a better choice to me. 'course I have no military experience, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Ammo plays a HUGE factor in performance. I will no longer shoot any ammo I consider questionable. I'm looking directly at you, UMC.
For pure stopping power, the Beretta is crap. The military likes them because they use the 9mm parabellum round, which is one of the smallest "big rounds" in production. Less mass = greater clip capacity.
I personally own a 1911 (.45), a Glock 17 (9mm), and a Browning Hi-Power (9mm). The Browning, although older than the Glock, is the best-performing pistol of the bunch. Plus it was Saddam Hussein's pistol of choice ;)

Nice collection, Dan.
I was considering picking up a 9mm Springfield XD (kinda similar to a Glock). I had a friend with one and I really liked it a lot. Very smooth operation, and lightweight (which is good and bad) so it'll fill the roles that my 1911 doesn't and vice versa. If I'm out camping, I'd definitely want a lighter pistol to carry around. It won't stop a bear, but then again the .45 might not either.

But will buying this gun imbue me the ability to make quips in the face of death?
I did not think so.

He may use a Beretta at somepoint in the game but placing that gun with that picture is just bad advertising.

Airsoft guns are ridiculously expensive. But to be fair, the gun is doing all the work of expelling the bbs. With normal guns the ammo does all the work.

Yup, just like a real Berretta. There's a reason most servicemen and police quit using this when the Glock debuted, particularly the Glock .45. Hint: it sucks.

Erm, when I talked to cops about why they switched to Glocks from Berettas, it was because the Beretta was "too complicated" and the Glock only had "a few moving parts." Stopping power? How accurately you shoot makes much more of a difference than .45 vs 9mm, and Glock vs. Beretta makes about, oh, NONE.

I'm a huge enthusiast, but excuse me guys but I have to capture your attention because this price is outrageous.
THIS IS A HFC M190 M92 GAS AIRSOFT GUN. IF YOU SEARCH AROUND ON AIRSOFT SITES, IT IS RETAILED FOR ONLY $60-$90.
To confirm if it's a M190? Look on the slide, look closely and it says M190.
