If your vocal chords simply can't get enough exercise from singing stuff on
SingStar, you might love to know what's new on their SingStore. We'll list the songs in English below, but if you're interested in other languages, we'll add those after the cut. This is a good update for those who love ... uh ... Avril Lavigne? It's a fairly varied batch of choices, so watch your wallets carefully.
- Avril Lavigne - Complicated
- Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack - Tonight I Celebrate My Love
- Good Charlotte - I Just Wanna Live
- The Beach Boys - Good Vibrations
- Shocking Blue - Venus
- Golden Earring - Radar Love
- The Hives - Hate To Say I Told You So
- Hard-Fi - Hard To Beat
- Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending
- Erik Faber - Not Over
- Cutting Crew - (I Just) Died In Your Arms
- R.E.M. - Everybody Hurts
- Wilson Phillips - Hold On
- Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You shouldn't've)?
- Alphabeat - Fantastic 6
- The Vines - Get Free
- Roy Orbison - Only The Lonely (Know The Way I Feel)
- Westlife - Queen Of My Heart
- The Hoosiers - Cops N Robbers
- Coldplay - Shiver
- Coldplay - The Scientist
- Duran Duran - The Reflex
- Moloko - Sing It Back
- Aslan - This Is
As we said before, songs from other lands or in other languages are after the cut. It would probably be fun to try them out at least once ... of course, it would be an easier choice to make if they were free.Dutch:
- Het Goede Doel - Belgie
- Kadanz - Intimiteit
French:
- K-Maro - Histoires De Luv
- Luke - La sentinelle
Norwegian:
Portuguese:
- André Sardet - Foi feitiço
- Clã - Tira A Teima
- Humanos - Maria Albertina
- Três Tristes Tigres - O Mundo A Meus Pés
Spanish:
- El Arrebato - Búscate Un Hombre Que Te Quiera

And this is why Rock Band should be taking lessons from Singstar. At least these are songs we know and many would be fun to sing. My Rock Band is collecting dust and I am now considering getting Singstar.

Does anyone know if a U.S. machine will play the Singstar Europe without any sync issues? Furthermore, will download content work with a U.S. system?

Also version 1.2 that adds stuff to My Singstar online:
"As well as viewing uploads in Latest Media and the Hall of Fame, you can now view the highest rated uploads of the week in "Hot Picks of the Week". Even more reason to get performing!"
and soon:
To update your copy of the game, just head online to automatically start the download.
A second enhancement will be available from 4pm GMT on Friday 16 May that will introduce the following new features and functionality:
* Harmony Mode: Play duets in our new Harmony Mode, where two players can sing different lines to a song at the same time, showing off their harmonising skills.
* PSP Remote Play: Using a PSP and a wireless Internet connection, players will be able to access various areas of the game such as the SingStore and My SingStar Online.
* HD Audio Calibration: A new option that allows you to customise your settings if your HD system introduces a slight audio lag into the game by measuring any lag inherent in your system and adjusting the scoring accordingly."
i.e The volume 2 stuff
