Hey folks, we've got new images of
LittleBigSonic Sonic Unleashed! Pardon the little joke there; it's just funny that every time we see this game (or at least see it at a side view) it reminds us of that world-creation sim by Media Molecule. Perhaps it's the bright and vibrant atmosphere that gives us this impression. Or, maybe it's the image of a tiny Sonic avatar navigating around such gigantic levels.
Whatever it is that makes us think this way, the association is nevertheless a positive one. We're definitely keeping both titles on our radar for good reason. Sonic's a bit tougher to keep watch on though ... he's just too fast. Har har har. Just check out the gallery already.

Sorry, it's hard to try and recreate the themetune to the sonic on the master system in type. I really hope this game is good due to the fact that I loved the old school Sonic. I wish someone would try to make a next gen sonic with a 2D platform control system and insanely nice graphics.
Come on, give us some old school!

Is this game for the PS2 or something? Besides the use of the old style Sonic genre in looks totally outdated to be released for 50 dollars at GameStop.
Assuming it's like 15 - 20 dollars on PSN.

Sonic hasn't really done well in a 3d perspective since Adventure 2. Heroes was mediocre at best, as is the Secret Rings for the Wii and the next gen Sonic was a disaster. This should really bring back the Sonic franchise back to basics with a bit of 3d sections. Kinda reminds me of Super Paper Mario for the Wii, except without the ability to switch perspectives.
Also, I laughed when that crossed out thing said LittleBigSonic.

Actually, unlike Super Paper Mario, it looks like it's actually going to be decent, instead of some gimmicky crapfest. Well done, you can flip into 3d. All it does is make the controls more fumbly than they need to be.

Wait so you can choose to play from side scrolling, or over the shoulders perspective? Because what first poster said I just want side scrolling sonic with jaw dropping graphix

Yeah, the side-scrolling reminds me of the Sonic I always loved, and I hope the music is as good. Plus, 3d backgrounds instead of parallax (though that was awesome at the time). I have my fingers crossed and my hopes... not up yet, but working on it.
