A croc comes to life in LittleBigPlanet
Play. Create. Share. That's the mantra for the LittleBigPlanet team. We know that the "Play" aspect of the game is swell, but what about the creation aspects? Media Molecule wants to make their creation engine as simple as possible, and they released a few images showing how a deadly crocodile can be constructed using just a few spare parts.
Playing with Legos was always fun, but something of this depth and magnitude has been almost unheard of -- at least for a mainstream audience. Hopefully, we'll be able to showcase some original creations of our own when we get our hands on with LittleBigPlanet soon.

Sorry, not a hater, but I still don't see what the big deal is. I mean this is supposed to arguably be better than any PS3 game to date when it comes out. It doesn't look too interesting to me. No flaming, but whats the big deal here?

I'm sorry, but anyone who can't see the hype around this game is just weird. No other game is doing what this game is doing.
Don't you like something new? that's what the hype is about!!

The big deal is This game has the most customization in any game ever made the posiblities are almost endless, it all depends on your imagination (when you are creating you own levels and sharing them/playing them with friends and online.) It has a story mode of somewhat but the "big deal" is the user created levels and endless ways u can create. If you are artsy you will like this game :)

I am still on the fence with this game. At this point it seems neat and all, just not very fun. Maybe its just me or just not my type of game.....seems like the only way to truly appreciate it is to actually play it. (Still have it on pre-order though!!)

It seems like almost every article about LBP, contains posts exclaiming how unexcited they are about this game.
And you know, that's fine. There's no game that appeals to 100% of the whole gaming populace. But, as long as you can understand that there are many people excited about it, that'll be fine.
Personally, I think this game will be the best thing since sliced bread. In fact, I may make a 'toaster' level, to celebrate just that fact.

Exclusives are rare so us PS3 Fanboys hang on to anything we can.
Which is why Sony is probably asking Media Molecule to delay its release for as long as possible.
I for one and sick and tired of hearing about this game. Not because I'm not interested in it. I want it. I'm just done looking at it. I want to play it already.
They don't seem the understand the significance of Prove in Show and Prove.

I think this game appeals to a wider audience than MGS4 and GTA4. The key is making sure the construction tools are intuitive and easy to use. MM is doing something revolutionary here, a game that lets you create every element of it.
The character customization also looks unprecedented. It looks like each and every character can be as unique as your imagination allows. Personally I like the little dude in the croc suit we've seen before and the KZ2 soldiers. But an Old Snake or Raiden would be cool as well.
If anyone is on the fence, I'm sure when it drops you'll fall to one side or the other.
