Looks like your brain isn't working either. In game XMB isn't out, quit trying to fool people.

I hate hearing about it every time a new update pops up, so I thought I would get the stupidity out of the way.

Sorry Jimbo, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people who've tried that and still can't get GTA IV to work. Do you have a launch PS3? Either that or there are A LOT of dumb PS3 owners...

Jeez, are there really people like you out there? It's so freaking easy to avoid this crash, and you clearly have access to the internet. did you think you might want to google this problem and see how to fix it? Maybe call sony?

I'll help you out anyway, since I'm such a nice little person.

Turn off your internet for a while. That's it.

Once you've saved further into the game, turn it back on. If you're having the well-publicized problem, this will fix it. It's pretty damn painless, and I've had my internet back on since trying this and have had no problems (and forums verify I'm not alone).

Have fun with the game! I'm shocked anyone would be willing to tolerate it not working for this long. It's so unbelievable to me. Literally incredible.

Yes God forbid the guy expect his game to actually work correctly without having to do any sort of work around.. Regardless of how trivial it is.

its much easier to do on a bike. then you get to fly together! next time you have a date in gta pick up a hooker on the way, and watch as your date yanks her out of the car like a sack of meat!
