Hot Shots Golf patch available now

PS3 owners have yet more goodies to download this weekend as Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (Everybody's Golf World Tour in Europe) gets a few new features patched in. Just head on over to the online features within the game to grab it. From what we can tell from the PlayStation.Blog post the patch allows you to have some fun while you're waiting for your opponent to take their turn by walking around the course and taunting the other players.

The blog post also states that online servers will be running much smoother from now on and that lobbies now have soccer balls to play around with. There will also be new avatar items coming soon and news regarding downloadable content for the title, too. So if you've put your copy of Hot Shots Golf away, now might be a good time to dust it off.

Apparently the DLC that is coming is actually already on the disc, and you're just downloading a small file to unlock it. That's pretty slimy; I don't like paying for something that I'm just unlocking on a product I've already paid money for. I'm sure there's someone in the US looking to sue over the practice...

Bluefrog; it certainly wasn't a small download. I just grabbed it and it took about 20 mins to come down so I think you're wrong...

no dust on mine. Cool, patches are always welcomes by me. Some DLC soon would be cool, and mini-golf is a golden idea

Sounds like it doesn't affect offline play at all? Not that I mind, the offline play has been pretty good for me.

Online has been okay, too, I'd really like to see voice chat though.
