That's all well and good for Japan, but what about North America? Will we be seeing a similar price point? And where exactly is our North American expansion? It was given an ambiguous April 2008 release schedule, but has yet to come out all month ... until now -- at least for Japan anyway.
We're probably jumping the gun on this one. The North American PlayStation Store has yet been updated today, so there's still a good chance this much wanted add-on will sneak up on there. Although, a stealth release is not of the norm; if the game was ready, we would have heard about it by now. We guess we'll find out soon enough, won't we?
[Update: We contacted SCEA. Encore is currently scheduled for an early May release. And by early, we mean really early. Stay tuned.]

Hahah so true. My girlfriend has been buggin me everyday ever since I told her about the expansion. Thats the only game she plays on the PS3 and she can't get enough!

I don't think there's mouse support, but there's really no need. It's totally not a point and click game. You move a guy around and build towers on top of trees. There's no placement issues or drag and drop or aiming. Really, you use the analog stick, X and triangle and that's it.

I dont! thats the problem! Im thinking: COD map pack this week (in time for the weekend), MGSO next week after work until GTAIV.. then im sure ill sink a ton of time into GTA, then ill get the PJM add on, takle that.. oh man its going to take me months to catch up. I Need a vacation.

I doubt its coming out today. Previous PJM release was stagnated with Japan receiving it first then NA. This expansion releasing first in Japan seems no different to me than than before. As alluded to, there will most likley be a PS Blog heads up before the NA release of Encore.

Don't get me starter! i only got like 6 rainbows.. its hard but soooooooo much freaking fun. I want the expansion, even though i havent finish the game i know i want more! I gonna get WarHawk also this week, I just dont know if i should either get it online or buy the BD. What you guys think? is the headset important?

I would tell you to get the disc, but from what I heard is that retailers no longer carry the disc version so you would have to download warhawk from the PSstore, but there's always ebay!

Get the disk you can play it on multiple accounts and using the headset is nice not enough people use them on the ps3.
