We're assuming that this continually lowered price has something to do with the upcoming Set 2 cards releasing next week. The lowered price probably is meant to rope in new gamers so they can spend their savings on Set 2 cards.
It's a good strategy actually as the original $70 just seemed way too expensive after factoring in the need to buy booster packs, expansions, etc, etc. $43 seems like a good price point to take advantage of if you've been meaning to get into Eye of Judgment.

I picked this up yesterday at my brick and mortar Freddy M's on clearance for th same price.

picked it up for $50 brand new at a local shop in Toronto. The game is nifty but the price gouging on the boosters and the upcoming set 2 patch is beyond criminal. Hellllllllo proxy cards.

The game is "garbage," deaftly? Not sure how you reached that conclusion, considering its innovation, amazing strategic depth, and great replayability, not to mention its immense popularity (try finding booster packs in the stores.) Maybe you're just not a strategy gamer, that's cool.
