Konami will replace broken beta codes
Laurino continues to answer more questions from users. While he does so we find out that Konami representatives will be participating in the beta themselves and that we should "stay tuned" for more info. This is also the case if you are after more details on the "gunmetal PS3" bundle which was announced last week. Funnily enough, though, no mention has been made of the fact that it is currently impossible to get a Konami ID from the website. The beta starts on Monday, so we're hoping that will be fixed before then. Otherwise Konami could have a lot of angry PS3 owners on their hands.

I downloaded the beta off the PSN, but I just don't know what to do with the patch. I don't know what to do on the peer to peer and I can't connect (wirelessly) on the servers. I need help.

The Peer 2 Peer, is a bit stange, mine was going fine till it got to bout 23% then stoped, I restarted the beta and nothing would happen, in the end i just left it going, it took about 20-30 min then it finally just started working and finished d/l the update, took a few hours though!

if using the peer to peer option and are having trouble you may need to set up some port forwarding (if your router cant work it out automatically via upnp)... if thats doesnt work your ISP might be blocking bittorrent traffic

The actual site is working right now but whenever I try to register it says "An error has occurred.
Due to a period of inactivity, the page has been deleted.
Please click on the below link to return to the top page."
so I try again and either I get that same message or it says "An error has occurred, please contact the administrator."
This sucks...

HEY PEOPLE!
The Konami ID is easier (MUCH EASIER) to get using this method:
Firefox
(disable images)
and use the AutoFormer extension.
I swear I just got my ID in less than 2 minutes
if you go thru the prompts w/ the images disabled, the page loads in mere seconds if that, then put in your info, go to EDIT> AUTOFORMER> SAVE ALL FIELDS
then click next
and next again, then when you get to the page to fill out all of your info, make sure its filled out CORRECTLY the first time, (you can take your time w/ this page) then hit EDIT > AUTOFORMER > SAVE ALL FIELDS..., then click "NEXT"....it should take you to the final page where you review and hit "REGISTER"
if that page times out, simply go back to the homepage, hit register, then click next, next, next, next, and register without having to re-input alllllll your info. its already saved!
got it off of a forum, but i'm not a member so i couldn't properly give him credit.
Hope this helps...it DEFINITELY helped me.
I'll be here to answer any questions if needed.

Oh, and for the Game ID and the Konami ID it says "IDs contain 8-32 lowercase letters, numbers, periods, hyphens, and underscores". Does that mean that I'd have to have an ID like this "Autopsy_15-." ??? WTF?
4-19-2008 @ 1:17AM
Justin said...
lol, no.
it can be all letters, or a combinations of letters and numbers
or letters and underscores
or letters numbers and underscores
but no capital letters

Omg. Even without images loaded, the Konami site isn't moving past the home page for me and my wireless is getting 54Mbps! I have very little faith in Konami being able to handle this beta if they can't handle a simple registry site. Ohhh lordy.
