I pre-ordered the limited edition because I heard the MGS PS3 bundle only had that standard edition. Now that the Gunmetal PS3 is coming I'll do everything I can to get it.
If the Halo 360 came with a game I would have bought that when it was available, good thing I held on to my money.

Shoulda went to costco when the halo system came out. Got the halo console, limited edition game, and a halo controller with the mini masterchief figure. Hope they have the same thing for this, but i'm pre-ordering whereever i can just in case. Been holding out for a ps3 just for this game.

Now see I probably would have, especially since I go to cosco a lot. I never saw it so I guess it's too bad, I still mostly play it at my friend's apartment though, so I wouldn't get much use out of it.

Ok, slightly off-topic question here. I can't find an 80gb PS3 anywhere, not amazon, not best buy, not gamestop. only ebay for over 600 bucks it seems. I don't keep up with gaming news much, so i'm assuming they're discontinued. Does this mean that I can't buy an 80gb PS3 until this bundle comes out? It's an awesome deal but having to wait 2 months for it sucks, I was hoping to have a PS3 before GTAIV dropped. Oh well, just have to wait or hope and pray for a GTAIV 80gb bundle.

You are correct on it being discontinued. GTA bundle MAY be 80gb. I think somewhere it said the MGS4 bundle may be backwards compatible... I hope it is.

You know, I've been trying really hard to be the last person on the planet with a 20GB launch PS3, but this coming to North America is making it REALLY hard not to sell my 20GB and save up for it.

I think it looks awesome and would have bought it over the fingerprint and dust collecting glossy black if I had a choice at launch. Don't get me wrong, the glossy black looks great too, but this new colour looks badass.

Im buying this. this is what i have been waiting for. i was going to try to get a ps3 before the mgo beta but i would gladly wait just for this bundle. ( i hope it is backwards compatible) !!!!!
