Metal Gear Solid 4 standard and limited editions finalized
US gamers: If for some reason, staring into Old Snake's tired eyes makes you uncomfortable, you may want to settle for Konami's special edition of the game. Exclusively available at GameStop, this edition will feature exclusive artwork by Kojima Productions illustrator Yoji Shinkawa. The Limited Edition will contain everything that is included with the Standard Edition as well as an additional Blu-ray disc featuring two "making of" documentaries. The documentaries will include extensive interviews with Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Soundtrack CD.
The Limited Edition will be available exclusively at GameStop for $85. Check out all high-res packaging for North America in our brand new gallery.

I KNOW! This is how Solid Snake needs to be going out... in style. Matches and concludes all previous box arts perfectly.

Did they say if the LE will include a regular sized PS3 case for the game in the package?

Why wouldn't it? Not trying to be funny or anything...but has any other game had a different sized PS3 case in the LE version?
Either way, this is full of win.

too much for the little that you get for the LE version. The LE of GTA4 is what a LE is suppose to be. Who cares about a soundtrack cd.

You sir are an idiot. The soundtracks are made of win and far more interesting than making of crap and stuff like that.

To Eggy.
The GTAIV CE also comes with the soundtrack and an art book as well as all the other stuff.
This shouldn't be more than 79$ They really are trying to rip us off.

I like them both... i don't really mind the boxart, the game is whats important. No matter what the box looks all 4 games on my shelves will look awesome!
OLD SNAKES rocks!
One thing i don't like, is the fact that you can only get the LE on gamespot. What about the folks that are not in the US. SUXXXXX!

both boxart are good. i like this one for the different look fresh hip young and like someone else said"going out in style." i like the regular one cuz hes a tired veteran the art looks like hes worn down and he doesnt have much left in the tank but hes going to give it his all.

Not to spoil anything but at the end of the DVD they give you when you preorder, they show Old Snake with a pistol in his mouth and a scarred up/burned face. They don't show anything before or after that.

I reserved the special edition in Gamestop. As an additional perk, I just got (Monday Apr 7) an extra bonus DVD with the history of big boss, solid snake and the rest of the snakes in the game and all 4 trailers.
It also comes with a leaflet inside of the sealed DVD that contains your key to access the online beta. It’s available for download starting april 17th and gameplay will work from april 21st till may 5th.
