Junichi Nakatsuru, the composer for Soulcalibur IV, was also on hand to oversee the recording of his masterpieces. He stated that he was conscious about bringing out the game's story through music. Not just the new title's story but the series long tale: "This Soulcalibur IV project itself is basically the result of all the previous Soulcaliburs and I'm taking all the good bits [from those games]... and building on them."
With a talented group of musicians working on a passionate composer's work, it's safe to assume we can expect to hear excellent music in the final game. To hear just how good Eminence sounds, have a listen to the clip after the break. The clip showcases music from a game unrelated to Soulcalibur; however, we think you'll be impressed from the mad skills nonetheless.

Awesome, though I hate that the classical guitar has to struggle so hard to be heard over the orchestra that it has to be amplified. It sounds best without it.
How cool would that be, to be part of that performance and then later buy the game and hear yourself playing the theme?

What is going on here, why are they ruining the Soul Calibur series?. This used to be an epic series, with great original soundtrack and good presentation. Also it had a feeling of having a somewhat serious story line.
But now the series is going downhill. The intro movies are forgettable. Unoriginal licensed music that feel out of place. Boobies supersized for maximum jigginess. Story went completely illogical and uncomprehensive with the last batch of games. Stupid characters like Darth Wader, Link, Spawn etc..
What is next for the series? guest character Jar Jar Binx?, themesong by Britney Spears?, cut scenes directed by Uwe Boll?, Cel-shaded graphics? I fear the worst :-P
