If you think you can get away with not purchasing
Gran Turismo 5: Prologue because you're so sure that as soon as it's released, the whole game will get a release date a couple of months later, you're wrong. On a
recent PlayStation Blog post, associate producer at SCEA Chris Hinojosa-Miranda responded to comments about the game, saying that "
GT5 is still about a year away. You should just decide now to buy [
Prologue], enjoy it, go online and race against anyone and everyone, rank number one worldwide, get the girl (or guy) and become the most popular kid in town." But what if we already are the most popular kid in town? What then, Mr. Hinojosa-Miranda?

What exactly is your criteria for a full game? If GT5:Prologue wasn't called Prologue, it would be a bargain by any other measure.

Seriously, what kind of man has a dashed last name? That sort of thing is usually reserved for pretentious and rich females.

Popfrogs: Latin people, Spanish people have 2 last names and we "have" to dash them because English people think our first last name is our middle name and that...that!..Really sucks

(If I could change my name easily to Ramon Caballero, I would)
I know Indians have a similar problem

Interesting, because my wife is from Thailand and they only have 2 names there. When she applied for her SSN she moved her old last name to become her middle name. Still no hyphen though. :)

What kind of idiot calls a hyphenated name a dashed name?? Your mastery of the English language betrays your narrow world view.

Man buzzbean, all you ever do is whine on every site about remote play, now you're criticizing my "world view" and my use of English. Beat it troll, you're annoying the adults.

@buzzbean: According to my dictionary dash also means:
Verb: dash: 6.- add an enlivening or altering element to; :blue paint dashed with white" (hypernym) mix, mix in
So dashed my last names seems to be appropriate English; and I know you were replying to popfrogs, I replied to him to "teach" him with respect other cultural stuff.
I think you fit perfectly in the troll category.
BTW: I don't know English as much as I want.

"All" is a pretty big statement, I could easily say you always talk about the RRoD, (i.e. a couple of times). All I was saying that it sounds pretty ignorant to judge someones manhood by how they spell their name, (which has little to do with the post and is a troll behavior, as long as we are throwing stones). Plus the comment on rich and pretentious women.
Ramon: your right your approach was more tactful. But it is a Hyphenated last name, (if your looking to improve your English)

I was told by the EB clerk that I could.. but he also told me this was just an extended demo, only had a handful of cars and one track.
Just a heads up, there is a 4GB install (which takes about 20 minutes), then a required update that took me about 5 minutes to download and 15 minutes to install. The thing that scares me, is that the update warned that I *could* lose my game statistics, but would retain my credits. Not an issue at the moment, but if future updates follow this, then that is very very bad.
Also, the printed manual has some pretty funny advice about online play, it suggests staying away from cars that are lagging.

If you're already the most popular kid in town odds are you aren't reading "the official Playstation blog."

GT5:P most probably will hold me off.
It's enough of a "Game" and not so much as a demo that it should keep me busy until the full release of the game. The online component of it is what will most likely keep me busy till the full release.
I scheduled myself to work Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to get my work week out of the way for the release of GT5:P. So I'm thinking I have the rest of the week to play, but then realised, I have a Pathophysiology Exam and a Pharm exam that thursday and friday! God definitely has a sense of humor! =)

I still cannot believe they are charging for this. Yes, it has alot of cars, but from what I remember it doesnt have very much else. Its called pretty much a demo by everyone, and its something you pay for. Just doesnt sit well with me, and it seems more like a way to strain you for more money since they know they arent going to be done anytime soon.
