A new Famitsu scan, a new Soulcalibur IV character revealed. This time, one more fresh female face joins the roster; her name is Angol Fear. She sounds frightening, doesn't she? Angol Fear is said to be a character from the Keroro Gunsou anime.
It's an odd choice for a guest character if you ask us. Seems a little too niche. It begs the question: is this character even going to make it in the North American version? A second question comes to mind: why are there no Namco guest characters? We'd love to see more Tekken cameos, or even Kos-Mos from Xenosaga -- that is, if there are no business complications on that end.
Anyway, Soulcalibur fanatics will love this info: Cervantes and Zasalamel are returning. Amy from Soulcalibur III will also be returning. With the news of this latest revelation, the majority of Soulcalibur alumni have now been confirmed. We're still missing the likes of Setsuka, Talim, Yoshimitsu, and Rock. Talim, deary, where are you?

Is it possible Japan isn't getting the SW characters? Maybe that's a Western audience thing, and Japan is getting the anime character instead.

I thought the same thing. I hope you are wrong. If not then it seems highly likely that they will charge us for each additional character.
To get Darth Vader and Yoda to fight, pay more you must.

Random anime characters are random, but Zasalamel's new duds are looking mighty sweet.

I think Kaylie Winters from Hunter: the Reckoning: Redeemer would fit right in with these characters. That would make for an interesting character mash-up.

When it comes down to Star Wars sword fighters, I would I think Darth Maul would have been a better choice any day. At least this leaves the window open for additional characters down the line. Perhaps a larger Star Wars roster to help us forget about the travesty that was Masters of the Teras Kasi?

Japan's getting the Star Wars characters. They got the Darth Vader trailer on the Network store before we did, which is odd.
