The magazine goes on to say that "the BBC reckons Sony has an amazing secret game in the works for 2009." You don't say. Capcom is supposedly developing Dead Rising 2 for PS3 as well as 360, which makes sense considering their big love for multiplatform development. Sony has in-game XMB working internally - and we should hope so too, considering they're releasing it in the Summer. As for Netflix coming to PS3, that's old news. Though still a rumor.
The only two things that the magazine mentions that aren't totally obvious are that Mass Effect and its sequels will be heading to PS3 (we'll have to see about that, Microsoft have a habit of paying big bucks for their exclusives) and that Team Ico's next game will have links to Norse myths. Not a lot we can do with that information until we see more of the game, but it's nice to know. Right?

Actually, onaxis decided not to print the whole rumour. The mag was commenting on the BBC article and said "The BBC reckons Sony has an amazing game in the works for 2009, we say it's not so secret", which is actually new news, because the BBC article gave the impression it wasn't a game we had already heard of.
So combining the two sources, is this amazing game Eight Days under its supposedly new name?

Actually the Team ICO rumour was taken from the Team ICO Gamers community so it's not entirely true as well.

lets be fair now guys. this is a monthly mag, and in this day and age they are gonna struggle to compete with instantly updated blogs such as this. then again if it is the official mag, then they should be closer to SONY than anyone else and therefore be able to print info that no body else would be privvy to.
meh- whatever. i dont buy mags anymore (well bar edge), i get my info from here and other sites (threespeech et al)
