Pretty isn't it? The Metal Gear Solid 4 artwork on both earpieces really do give these wireless Sony 7.1-channel MDR-DS7000 headphones an extra stylistic edge. Want to know how you can score a pair? Well, it's not going to be easy that's for sure.
These babies are going to be given away randomly to 30 lucky shoppers who purchase any one of the MGS4 bundles on Konami's Japanese online store. So unless you've got connections somewhere in Japan and extreme luck on your side, chances are your closest look at these beauties is in this posting. If you think you've got a fighting chance, go for it. The offer is still good up until June 1st.

Those are sweet and would be a perfect match for the Japanese PS3 bundle with the gunmetal finish. However...where's the microphone? Short sighted maybe?

I'm not sure about that wireless headset but i have the bluetooth wireless Sony eggo headset (got it from audiocubes.com) and there's a little hole that says mic. I have it paired to my PS3 and my mobile phone and though the little tiny hole is the mic, people on the otherside say it's very clear. Also, even if background sound (e.g. mp3s that are playing) continues to play, it doesn't leak through to the mic. Again, not sure if that headset in the article has a mic feature but if it does, it'd probably be similar to the one on mine.

Thanks for the info, I've been looking for a decent bluetooth headset. The one I have is one-sided (for a phone like most of them) and the mic is so sensitive I can't play COD4 with my surround speakers on.

Haha I don't think this was meant to be a headset, though that probably would've been the better idea.
It's just full out 7.1 headphones.
And that's pretty damn hawt. I'd love to get my hands on one. I think they should release a set here in North America =P.
