Over at the PlayStation.Blog, the community relations manager for Insomniac Games posted the final logo designs for Resistance 2 (as seen above). The San Francisco Bay Bridge can be clearly seen on the logo's "A" letter; this is the second appearance for the iconic landmark after initially turning up when the game was first unveiled.
It's nice to see the bridge being showcased like this, but when will other American landmarks be revealed? We've known for sometime now that our hero Nathan will be going cross-trekking across the USA, but what other locales will he be going to? Well as long as the next revealed landmark isn't the overused Statue of Liberty, we'll be happy. We've seen that one too many times in most aliens-are-gonna-kill-us type stories.
Other than the logos, some concept art was also posted. These art pieces are on two of R2's co-op multiplayer classes: sniper and medic. To check those pics out, head on over to the PlayStation.Blog.

Guys, Golden Gate is far out in the bay, far away from the sort of skyline you see in the logo and in the concept art. Besides, look at the crossbeams between the two huge pillar-like beams, Golden Gate doesn't have that ... but Bay Bridge does! Oooh, pwnd!

It's the Bay Bridge, just like I said. Want to know the worst part about it? I live in San Francisco and have been for the last 26 years, lol. I'll go sit in a corner now...

I wonder what US location they're going to use that will create controversy on the same scale as the Manchester Cathedral.

That's easy. NYC and any University campus.

Oh yeah, you're right. Also, I totally forgot for a second there that it doesn't matter what locations they pick, because regardless, Mr. Thompson is probably already getting ready to pounce on Insomniac, Sony, and any store that sells games.

I wanna see some epic Philadelphia/Washington D.C love here.
Philadelphia=Birthplace of the U.S. Declaration of Independence AND the Constitution were both written AND signed there. It was also the first capital of the country (then NY, then D.C)
Imagine fighting around the Lincoln memorial, or the Capital building steps.
Not to sound morbid or anti-American (I love mah country) but that would be pretty bad ass.

Fighting in DC would be pretty sweet!
I live in Seattle, and I think a massive Chimera base growing around the Space Needle would be pretty cool. And the EMP, too... please Chimera overlords, destroy the EMP!
