Other qualms from the first game have been resolved, such as split-screen play which will be included in MotorStorm 2 and will support up to 4 players on a single screen. A new vehicle type, the Monster Truck, will also be a part of the sequel. With levels that incorporate mud, tangled vines and lava pools, we can't wait to see the game in action. Until then, there's just the above video available to whet our appetites.
[UPDATE] This trailer deserves to be watched in its true Hi-Def glory and GameTrailers have you covered. Enjoy!

They claim it to be CG, but I doubt it this time around, it doesn't look half as real as the CG clip shown for the original Motostorm. I think by now they would have learn thier lesson. Obviously its not gameplay, but we'll have to see what happens.
Other then that, it looks 100% incredible as thought, I'm hyper excited for its release :) I hope theres more danger this time round though, put some lakes, rivers and unstable wooden bridges. Oh and make the tracks as dynamic as the clip shows, I wanna wreck buildings to slow people down around me :) Rollcage did it, and nobody has done the same since.

I'm pretty sure that's CG. Those shading effects, and the environment/destruction effects are damn hard to pull off like that and yeah, its definitely not gameplay lol.
Then again, that's probably what I said about MGS4 and KZ2.

It's definitely pre-rendered, but so was MS1's trailer and it (the final product) came damn close to meeting it. Anyway, still looking foward to what should be an awesome game.

I like the change of area. I think they can make some interesting race tracks on that island.

Do you need gameplay pics? Once they tell you theres better load times, destructable environments, in game custom music, split screen modes etc, all you have to do is think of the current motostorm with all these enhancements, and there my friend, is your gameplay ^^

yeah i could read all that, but besides that there are the visuals in the new game... so all this teaser shows, is, well, nothing, except the possibility of a new environment and new car type, which are also things that i could read.
if its going to look just like the other one then why are these additions not available in patches and DLC???

Ughhhhhh - I thought I'd never hear that Pendulum track again. Tarantula was so played out in the Drum & Bass scene by the time it got released in 2005. 3 years later doesn't make it better... :/

C'mon, it's not like the drum and bass scene is all over the radio. I didn't even hear Tarantula until the other day.

That looks SICK!
Pre-rendered or not, the original Motorstorm is still a kick ass game that not only looks great but plays great as well. So, if this game is better than the first game, I'll be gladly handing over my credit card.

Whats up is there still a party going on.... like ravers and club heads dancing around in this version? Liked the 1st one and they kept making sure to enhance through out its life cycle. Hopefully its mo betta.. this time around before it hits shelves so we don't get more content updates instead of bug fixes.

Wow. You'd have thought they might have learned their lesson with the FIRST Motorstorm and wouldn't have released a ridiculously ambitious CG video that people will now expect to reflect actual gameplay. If that was in game footage (and there's no way in hell it was), I'll buy TWO copies of the game.
