Insomniac's darling FPS is returning later this year. Expect it to be far more involving than the previous effort. Insomniac has mastered the PS3 tech, and will churn out some jaw-dropping visuals and some truly realistic animation. Watch this motion capture video, being used in Insomniac's upcoming FPS. It's silly, yes -- but it's the kind of stuff that needs to be done when making a game. Make sure you watch it in HD, to appreciate everything that's happening across all six of these cameras.

Insomniac sets the standard which all others are measured against. This is a day one purchase just like RFOM was.

I think he was-- I just wish he had done some research and moved more like an animal. His body movements were self-conscious, and at this level it's going to translate to the game. Heavenly Sword used a known mo-cap real actor, the guy who did Golem in LOTR. This looks like it's using a staffer. That's fine-- just have him take some acting lessons-- body language is crucial, and at this level, everything will translate, even the reticence-- he should look ruthless-- he looks like he's acting.

spoilers in that video lol. those motions can only mean one thing: Cloven. they are the infected but not transformed soldiers that you kept finding info on during the game but never saw. you can get their multiplayer skin by signing up for myresistance.net though. im guessing they will play a major part in this next game since they dont seem to ally with either the humans or chimera.
