It's finally coming. Grand Theft Auto IV is finally coming. After months of delays, it looks like Rockstar's ready to put the finishing touches on the game. These two new trailers show the tongue-in-cheek humor the franchise is known for. Check out the other new trailer, after the cut.

Man this game is so far left it's not funny, they make it seem like Illegal Immigration is a good thing. Then the whole talk radio station making fun of Talk Radio. Leave the politics out and make games like they have in the past.

Exactly dull, rusty agricultural implement, the libruls have ruined this game. Those formerly patriotic Americans of Rockstar North have never ever mocked, for example, Talk Radio in prior GTAs which is what makes this so shocking.

Ironic that you say so, Scythe; GTA is renowned for social & political antics. In addition, a dev team comprised of over 100 individuals cannot possibly be on one particular side of an idealogical spectrum.

Scythe, I want to punch you in the stomach. The far right & left in this country do nothing but divide us. Those who reside in the political boondocks, as I assume you are, have no common sense.
Go watch fox news and jerk off to Mexicans getting shot by "patriots" you piece of filth.
Shenanigans out!

"make games like they have in the past"
R-star has always made games with a socio-political slant, so they're doing exactly what you want.

Vice City made fun of talk radio.
And as others have pointed out, Rockstar North is formerly DMA Design, and they are based in Britain.

Is anyone else concerned that in every single video of this game that's been shown, the framerate is seriously choppy? I don't get it. Based on the videos, the game looks nearly unplayable because of the low framerate (it looks like 10fps at times), but I find it hard to believe that they'd actually release the game if it was that bad. I've looked at the videos on numerous different machines (including my PS3), it's not my hardware, so either the framerate for this game is really bad, or whoever puts the videos together is seriously incompetent.
Anyone share my concern?

Yeah I noticed that too, but I actually think it's the encoding GameTrailers uses. If you look at some gameplay trailers for Uncharted, they are even choppier than this at times.
Graphics seem to have improved since some of the old trailers, though.

I've been saying that since day one but nobody seems to care. Even the official videos on the PSN are choppy as hell with a bad framerate.

Yeah, I wondered that, except even the .mp4 GTAIV trailers that you can get through the Playstation store show the exact same choppiness.
I'll agree with you though, the graphics do look nicer. Let's all pray to god that the framerate is at least a solid 30fps...

i thought it was just my hardware or something cause they do play choppy as hell. i guess i should have figured this out based on the fact that the PS3 version i downloaded was choppy too. dear god i hope they fix that cause that could ruin this game.
