Well, this one comes as a surprise ... okay, not really. Amazon has the abysmal Turok listed on sale for US$39.99. If you order now, you'll get a free copy of the game's strategy guide. While a guide sounds like a nice incentive, it would take much more than that scant extra to entice a purchase from us.
You know, doesn't this really makes you wonder how bad this game really is? Think about it, the game gets a third of the price slashed off within only a sliver over a month into the game's release. Our review sums it up: "Unfortunately, as it stands right now, this is a rather flawed game that hides the truly clever mechanics the team was attempting." Any brave souls willing to take this offer up?
[Thanks, Trevor!]

Call of Duty 4 was available for $40 several times shortly after its release. I don't think that game was that bad, did you?

what a pos. The funniest part is the demo they released; you'd think there would be one competent game tester that would say "uh guys this demo sucks donkey b*lls"

The demo was horrible but people say they just chose a bad part of the game to include in the demo.

The video review over at gametrailers.com made the game look decent. I'll never understand why the game developer went with such a crappy level for the demo.....that killed the sales of the game for many people including myself.

Tempting for a new release but the demo was too boring for 40 bucks. No thank you, 10 bucks is the sweet spot for me. College frat boys can keep it.

I have changed the way I buy games this generation. I dont care how much they discount garbage like Turok, I am only purchasing AAA titles now.
I used to buy junk when it came out at a low price but games are too expensive to throw money away on and my gaming time is too limited to play garbage. I would rather put my time and the money I save from completely NOT buying Turok into my saving for Condemned2, GTA IV and MGS4 All coming in the next few months. Sorry Turok, Sorry Disney corporation, but sadly Turok sucks almost as much as Lost Planet!!! Got no time or money to waste anymore.
