American Folklore fans will soon be catching up with their European brethren as two new add-on packs will soon be released. Already available on the European PSN Store, these expansions each add a number of new quests along with a new folk and costume to collect.
Priced at $3.99 each, or $5.99 for both, we're guessing that these add-on packs will be added to the store this week on Thursday. For more details on the add-ons, titled "The Alchemist Pack" and "The Origin of Belgae", check out the PlayStation.Blog.

Cool. They never really go into Belgae's backstory so anything that will shed a little light on that is win.

I'm getting a little tired of folklore addons, nobody cares about this game anymore. It was an average game to begin with.

do you even own the game?
as someone who DOES own the game and really enjoyed it, these expansions are awesome. i'd rather pay 5$ for additional content for something i already like than 60$ for something that's a ripoff.
if you don't like the addons, that's your right, but don't start complaining and saying that people shouldn't have additional content just because you don't like something.

Do try to speak for yourself rather than everybody else. I'm very happy with the add-ons and am glad they are continuing to pay attention to the fans of this game.

That's the beauty of add-ons: If you don't want them, don't download them! Lol.

I found Folklore to be an interesting, fun, and rich experience.
It's not as flashy as stuff like Uncharted, and it's not as over-hyped as things like Halo, but I probably had the most fun over a fairly long period of time with it over any other game for this generation of consoles so far. Not saying stuff like Uncharted, Ratchet, Heavenly Sword, etc. weren't fun, quite the contrary, they were a blast. But Folklore was a unique and rich experience all it's own. I like the DLC, keep em comin'!

I haven't gotten the game yet (I just got a PS3 before Christmas), but I plan to as soon as I can find a decent deal on it. Aren't there already a couple of other content packs? Maybe they'll bundle all of 'em together at some point?

They come in pairs. There was 2 for the same pricing scheme mentioned in the article, and there was 2 xmas ones for free.
I like their content system because you don't just buy new Folks which you can plug into the game, but instead you buy quests which when beaten will reward you with stuff, like a new Folk.

Actually, now that I think of it, the xmas pack was one item. It gave xmas outfits to the characters and added a quest and a Folk.
