After already selling a million copies in three weeks, Mass Effect is a certifiable hit, and we all know much EA likes to spread its library across as many platforms as possible to maximize revenue. We just hope that if it does happen, it will be as soon as possible, or if we do have to wait awhile, we can get some exclusive bonus content. We just can't get enough of that lesbian alien sex!

Yeah, we had this over on 360 fanboy a few days ago.
It'll be a turn of events, despite EA owning Bioware, Microsoft own the publishing rights.
Other sources are suggesting that Microsoft has also negotiated publishing rights to the rest of the trilogy as well;

Pachter is really sticking his neck out on this one. Hope he gets his head chopped off.
I am praying that the EA dev's who ported Orange Box port this one too. The framerate was buttery smooth in that game.

To be fair, the problem with DMC4 going multi-platform is that the development focus has shifted to a multi-platform one. See, DMC4 isn't getting ported to the 360, its being developed for it and the PS3 simultaneously. This means that all of their efforts are being divided two ways.
Think of it this way, if a developer is a single person with two hands, making something multi-platform from the get-go means that one hand is working on one version and the other hand is working on the other version. I would rather both hands work on one version until it is done and then both hands work on the port. What this metaphor translates to is: a timed exclusive. While I hate waiting for a game, I would rather wait for a good game than get a bad one.

I doubt it guys...Same goes for Bioshock...No game thats ever been published by M$ has ben on a Sony console...Same goes for SCE games...So this is a dead rumor...Just like seeing Ninja Gaiden 2 on the PS3 it'll never happen...But hey it is what it is...Trust there are plenty of games that M$ fans want from Sony

i wouldnt mind seeing PS3 get this just for the fact that it has piqued my curiosity with all the buzz its getting. it will never happen though since Microsoft is publishing the first one. i wouldnt be surprised if the next 2 eventually go multiplatform though im not going to hold my breathe on it.

I doubt this will happen. but if it does then PS3 owners will get a good game. I have it for 360 and I think its pretty good. However, due to the nature of this game I am scred of how it will port over. I would imagine Orange box to be a much easier game to port, and look at how that turned out. In my personal opinion I think it is a good game but not AWESOME!!! I was playing it this weekend and after about 20 minutes I threw on Oblivion (360 version). The graphics are hit or miss in a lot of areas. For example you will have 3 character stnding around and when you look at their faces you will say "WOW THAT LOOKS AMAZING". Then you will stop and look at the floors and walls and say "Wow those textures look like they are from N64". Good story though and I like the character development.
