For anyone hoping in game XMB access might be included in the "includes other features" portion of the 2.00 update, I think the only "other" thing is a free parental controls application. And that might require a subscription after April '08.

I hope someone starts a site where all of the custom created xmb icons and wallpapers can be collected so that we can all download and apply them.

well thats cool i guess. All i really wanted is in game music, and XMB, but I guess it is better than a swift kick. I can just hear all the kids moaning and crying about this firmware, but in game with come soon enough. Go sony

All they did was match the XMB functionality between the PSP and PS3. Not enough to earn a 2.0 designation if you ask me.

Well, it looks like I was wrong about the 2.0 designation but right about lack of XMB music in game... customization is cool - so, this update isn't as hopeless as I thought it would be. Now, if only Sony would allow us to upload from the PS3 to the computer, my set up would be complete! =)
